Elias, Ponikarovsky switch lines

NEWARK, N.J. -- It appears Devils coach Peter DeBoer will stick with the line combinations he used late in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.

During practice on Monday afternoon, Alexei Ponikarovsky skated with Adam Henrique and Ilya Kovalchuk on the first line, while Patrik Elias skated with Jacob Josefson and David Clarkson on the third line.

Both the second and fourth lines remained the same.

The Ponikarovsky-Henrique-Kovalchuk trio was on the ice for Henrique's game-winning goal 63 seconds into overtime.

The defensive pairings also remained the same. Henrik Tallinder -- out since mid-January with a blood clot in his lower leg -- skated on the extra pairing with rookie Adam Larsson.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals is Wednesday night at the Prudential Center.
