Mark Sanchez shouldn't be worried about Tim Tebow, according to an ESPN SportsNation poll.

SportsNation is asking fans, "Who should start at quarterback for the Jets?" And the nation is throwing significant support to the Jets' incumbent -- 62 percent to 38 percent, with more than 75,000 votes tallied (as of 4:30 p.m. Saturday).

Sanchez-Tebow is being portrayed in the media as a quarterback competition, but it's really not. Sanchez is No. 1, Tebow No. 2. Barring injury, Sanchez will be the opening-day starter. Case closed. The only way the line gets blurred is if Sanchez allows it, playing poorly.

Based on Thursday's OTA session, open to the media, Sanchez clearly is performing at a higher level than Tebow. But, remember, Tebow never has been known as a strong practice player. He saves his best stuff for games -- specifically, the fourth quarter. If Tebow leads the Jets to a fourth-quarter comeback, well, then it might be time for Sanchez to worry.
