If the Jets' motivation in acquiring Tim Tebow was to benefit financially from his popularity, as some suspect, they have to be happy with this news:
Tebow had the No. 2-selling jersey in the league from April 1 to May 28, according to NFLShop.com. He's the only Jets player in the top 25, and only two Giants made the list -- QB Eli Manning (No. 5) and WR Victor Cruz (No. 18).
Here's the top 10:
1. Peyton Manning, Broncos
2. Tim Tebow, Jets
3. Robert Griffin III, Redskins
4. Andrew Luck, Colts
5. Eli Manning, Giants
6. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
7. Patrick Willis, 49ers
8. Tom Brady, Patriots
9. Cam Newton, Panthers
10. Troy Polamalu, Steelers
