Here's an unofficial breakdown of the playing time for the skill-position players on the starting offense. The first unit played a total of 21 snaps with Mark Sanchez at quarterback.
RUNNING BACK
LaDainian Tomlinson -- 12 plays
Shonn Greene -- 9
Comment: A more balanced mix than last week, when it was the Tomlinson show.
FULLBACK
Tony Richardson -- 9
Comment: Unlike last week, rookie sensation John Conner had no playing time with the starters. That could be an indication that Richardson's job is secure.
TIGHT END
Dustin Keller -- 16
Ben Hartsock -- 6
Matt Mulligan -- 1
Comment: No surprises here.
WIDE RECEIVER
Jerricho Cotchery -- 19
Braylon Edwards -- 19
Brad Smith -- 12
Santonio Holmes -- 2
David Clowney -- 1
Comment: Pretty much the same split as last week. Surprised Holmes hasn't received with work with the starters.
