Injury Report: Pouha needs stitches

August, 1, 2012

Rex Ryan complained about thinning ranks at wide receiver and elsewhere, and you can see why:

DT Sione Pouha: Needed stitches in his forehead.

OL Vlad Ducasse: Didn't play in team drills with knee injury. Ryan said trainers weren't concerned.

WR Jeremy Kerley: Hamstring injury. Ryan is not happy with the punt returner.

WR Chaz Schilens: Groin injury.

WR Santonio Holmes: Soft-tissue injury kept him out of last team period.

WR Scotty McKnight: Had legs stretched in trainer's tent.

RB Joe McKnight: Food poisoning.

LB Brett Roy: Concussion.

WR DaMarcus Ganaway: Hamstring.

A few other players did not practice in team drills, even if they were on the field: DB Donnie Fletcher (hamstring); RB John Griffin; LB Marcus Dowtin; WR Royce Pollard; CB Ryan Steed; WR Eron Riley; RB Fui Vakapuna (hamstring).
