CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Wednesday is central New York's last opportunity to see Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow and the gang in living color. Yep, it's the Jets' final public practice in this friendly burg. They practice again Thursday, but that's open only to the media (Wildcat, anyone?). After that, they head home to Florham Park, N.J.

Unless another blast from the past shows up (see: Chad Pennington on Tuesday), the spotlight will likely shift to Saturday night's preseason game against the Giants. How 'bout some fighting words? Maybe the Jets can claim mattress superiority over the Giants. Except for Sione Pouha, the Jets haven't reported any ailing backs.

The Schedule

8 a.m. to 11 a.m. -- Practice
11 a.m. -- Media availability
