Outside looking in: Matt Simms

Comment: Simms has flashed some arm talent, but they won't keep four.

RUNNING BACK

Locks: Shonn Greene, Bilal Powell, Joe McKnight

Bubble: John Conner, Terrance Ganaway

Outside looking in: Jeremy Stewart

Comment: Conner probably makes it, but the diminished value of the fullback puts his roster spot up for discussion. Josh Baker also can play fullback; LB Nick Bellore also is seeing time there.

WIDE RECEIVER

Locks: Santonio Holmes, Stephen Hill, Jeremy Kerley, Patrick Turner

Bubble: Chaz Schilens, Jordan White

Outside looking in: Eron Riley, Royce Pollard, Wes Kemp, Stanley Arukwe, Joseph Collins

Comment: Schilens probably will make the 53 (unless they import a veteran), but his injury situation has created questions.

TIGHT END

Locks: Dustin Keller, Jeff Cumberland, Josh Baker

Bubble: Dedrick Epps

Outside looking in: Hayden Smith, Tarren Lloyd

Comment: Cumberland (concussion) will make it, but his opening-day status bears watching.

OFFENSIVE LINE

Locks: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Matt Slauson, Nick Mangold, Brandon Moore, Austin Howard, Wayne Hunter, Vladimir Ducasse.

Bubble: Caleb Schlauderaff, Robert Griffin, Matt Kroul.

Comment: Schlauderaff would've helped his value by making the transition to center, but that hasn't worked out.

DEFENSIVE LINE

Comment: Looks fairly cut and dried here. Richardson has made some plays, so he deserves consideration.
