PITTSBURGH -- As expected, S Troy Polamalu (calf) and LB James Harrison (knee) were declared inactive for the Steelers. The Jets' inactive list is headed by CB Darrelle Revis, who didn't make the trip because of a concussion.

The Jets' other inactives: QB Greg McElroy, LB Bryan Thomas, DT Damon Harrison, G Caleb Schlauderaff, OT Dennis Landolt and TE Dustin Keller

Analysis: NT Sione Po'uha and S Eric Smith, coming off injuries, will make their season debut. ... WR Clyde Gates and TE Dedrick Epps, signed Friday from the Bears' practice squad, will make their Jets debut. ... Garrett McIntyre will start for Thomas, Kyle Wilson for Revis and Jeff Cumberland for Keller. ... The Jets have only eight DBs dressed for the game. In an emergency situation, they could use RB Joe McKnight, who has practiced at cornerback in the past.

The remainder of the Steelers' inactives are QB Charlie Batch, RB Rashard Mendenhall, LB Stevenson Sylvester, G Kelvin Beachum and LT Alameda Ta'amu.
