FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The Jets could be without three key contributors for Monday night's game against the Texans as receiver Stephen Hill, tight end Dustin Keller and defensive tackle Sione Pouha missed Thursday's practice.
For Pouha, who played Sunday against the 49ers, he was outside during the portion of practice open to the media but left to go inside the team's facility, which is a never a good sign. His status will become more clear over the next two days.

Hill, the rookie, might have an uphill battle to get on the field if he can't practice. The wideout is still learning the playbook and needs all the help he can get. Keller, meanwhile, is still not practicing but at least he has a rapport with quarterback Mark Sanchez that can be quickly rekindled.
While Bart Scott (toe), fullback John Conner (hamstring) and linebacker Bryan Thomas (hamstring) all missed Wednesday's practice, there has not been any indication they are in trouble for Monday's game. All played Sunday against the 49ers.

Some perspective required: #Jets are learning new offensive system, WR corps depleted, defense always ahead of offense this early.
