As expected, GM Mike Tannenbaum didn't swing any deals before Thursday's trading deadline. But that doesn't mean things will be quiet over the next few days.
The Jets have only 51 players on the roster, so they will add two before resuming their season next weekend against the Seahawks. They have only four running backs and four wide receivers, so look for additions at those positions.
As we head into the bye weekend, let's reset the Jets' roster:
Quarterback: Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy.
Running back: Shonn Greene, Lex Hilliard, Bilal Powell, Joe McKnight.
Wide receiver: Jeremy Kerley, Stephen Hill, Chaz Schilens, Clyde Gates.
Tight end: Dustin Keller, Jeff Cumberland, Konrad Reuland, Hayden Smith.
Offensive line: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Matt Slauson, Nick Mangold, Brandon Moore, Austin Howard, Vladimir Ducasse, Jason Smith, Caleb Schlauderaff.
Defensive line: Muhammad Wilkerson, Mike DeVito, Sione Po'uha, Quinton Coples, Kenrick Ellis, Damon Harrison.
