ST. LOUIS -- Disappointed by his team's performance, Jets owner Woody Johnson and team president Neil Glat held a 45-minute meeting Tuesday with GM Mike Tannenbaum, Rex Ryan and his coordinators, according to a Newsday report.
They met to "discuss how we can improve our performance moving forward," a team spokesman told the newspaper, adding that the meeting was "calm and constructive."
On Thursday, Johnson told reporters the season has been "miserable," adding, "I didn't sign up for 3-6." A day later, Ryan admitted the Jets were a "desperate" team.
The Jets have dropped three straight, falling three games under .500 for the first time in the Ryan era. They face the Rams (3-5-1) Sunday.
