CORTLAND, N.Y. -- After a day off, the Jets are back on the field Monday at 10 a.m., the first of three full practices before the preseason opener Friday in Detroit. What we'll be looking for:
1. Quarterback rotation: If the plan remains the same, it'll be Mark Sanchez's turn to lead the first-team offense. Geno Smith has yet to throw an interception in team drills through seven practices and one scrimmage.
2. Who's back in the backfield?: The Chris Ivory Hamstring Watch continues. Is this the day he makes his training-camp debut? Even if he does, Bilal Powell, making a bid for the No. 1 job, probably will get the prime reps. The status of Joe McKnight (head) bears watching. It'll be our first look at newly-signed running back Mossis Madu.
3. Tweaks to the depth chart: This is the time in camp when the coaches start tinkering with the depth chart. We'll keep an eye on the Kyle Wilson/Dee Milliner situation at cornerback and a potential battle brewing at fullback with Lex Hilliard and rookie Tommy Bohanon, who impressed in the scrimmage. DE Leger Douzable also is in line for more reps.
