FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Despite doing some positional work on Thursday and Friday, Jets cornerback Dee Milliner will miss his third straight game this weekend when New York plays Pittsburgh. He believes he'll be ready to play in next week's divisional home game against New England.
"It's just some tightness. When I [am] running, whenever I get to a certain level, I feel uncomfortable," Milliner said. "It's getting better each time that I've been doing it and progressing, so I'm feeling great."
Milliner has not practiced since injuring his hamstring on Sept. 25. The first-rounder has struggled with injuries in his brief time with the Jets.
"Very frustrated the injuries occur," Milliner said. "Wish I was out there on the field. Wish I was out there playing. You're going to go through things, it's how you overcome."
The Jets will also be without receiver Santonio Holmes (foot/hamstring), while cornerback Antonio Cromartie (knee) is questionable after hyperextending his knee. Jets coach Rex Ryan said Cromartie is a game-time decision.
