EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Jets' secondary will be healthier than it has been in weeks when it faces the New England Patriots Sunday at MetLife Stadium. And that's good for them because it's official: Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is active for the game.

Gronkowski, who hasn't played a game in 280 days, was cleared Friday by doctors. He was listed as questionable by the ever-secretive Patriots, but there was no doubt about his availability.

Rex Ryan will have multiple options in his Gronkowski plan. Rookie CB Dee Milliner (hamstring), who missed the last three games, is active. So is CB Kyle Wilson, who suffered a concussion last week. The Jets will dress 10 defensive backs for the game, which isn't unusual for a Ryan-coached team. Look for safeties Jaiquawn Jarrett and Antonio Allen to be involved in covering Gronkowski.

The Jets' inactive players are WR Santonio Holmes, QB Brady Quinn, WR Greg Salas, LB Troy Davis, G Will Campbell, T Ben Ijalana and T Oday Aboushi.

As expected, Patriots CB Aqib Talib (hip) is inactive. That means they will be without their three best defensive players, Talib, LB Jerod Mayo and DT Vince Wilfork. Starting DT Tommy Kelly also is inactive. Their other inactive players are WR Danny Amendola, S Tavon Wilson, RB Leon Washington, OL Chris Barker and WR Josh Boyce.
