EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A look at the key drive in the New York Jets' 24-13 win against the Cleveland Browns:

Smith
The Drive: The Jets drove 81 yards on 14 plays to take a 17-10 fourth-quarter lead they would never relinquish.

The Situation: The Jets and Browns were tied at 10 with 5:42 left in the third quarter. The Jets had the ball at their own 19, and it was becoming clear that field position was going to be important. The Jets needed to get the ball out of their own end at worst.

What happened: A touchdown. The Jets went 81 yards to take the lead for good as Geno Smith completed 7-of-9 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown, finding David Nelson for a five-yard score -- Nelson's second of the day. The Jets were able to convert a pair of third downs as Smith found Jeremy Kerley for 17 yards on 3rd-and-13, and Chris Ivory went for five on third-and-one at the Browns' 14. The drive lasted 6:28 and was the Jets' longest of the day.

The impact: The Jets held the lead the rest of the way and picked up their seventh win. Cleveland kicked a field goal on the following drive, slicing the lead to 17-13, but the Jets scored a final touchdown to put the game out of reach.
