CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The New York Jets will take the field at 10 a.m. Sunday as training camp turns toward Week 2 of the preseason. Storylines we'll be watching:
  • Veteran returns? Three players have relatively minor injuries that bear watching -- wide receiver Eric Decker (quadriceps), running back Chris Ivory (ribs) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (calf, ankle). They all sat out Saturday, but they appear to be close to participating in team drills.
  • QB talk. Geno Smith and Michael Vick are scheduled to meet the media. Gee, I wonder if the words "Wildcat" and "change-of-pace" will be broached in their interviews.
  • More work for Tajh Boyd. The former Clemson standout, struggling in camp, saw an increased workload Saturday. And he handled it reasonably well. We'll see if he can maintain the positive mojo. Boyd, who didn't play in the opener, is expected play next Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
