Scott on achieving team greatness: "When you want to have a great defense or a great team, the coaches lose ownership of it. They give the ownership to the players. You think Phil Jackson is doing much coaching with Kobe? That's what makes them special."

LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson on the quiet demeanor of rookie LG Vladimir Ducasse: "I know of another individual who was pretty reserved his first year, so I can definitely understand where he's coming from. I'm sure, over time, that will change. You get more familiar with people and you start to understand the circumstances you're in. You turn around and you won't be able to tell him to stop."

Luckily, we (owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan) were 30 minutes early. He told us that he wakes up every day at 4:45 because he's totally committed to having a productive day.
