Burress, McKnight, Pool don't practice

November, 9, 2011

Plaxico Burress (lower back) was not in uniform and worked out on the sidelines Wednesday, the first day of practice for the Jets after a win over the Bills. Both RB Joe McKnight and S Brodney Pool (knee) were not on the practice field.

McKnight's injury is unknown.

The Jets are preparing to face the Patriots on Sunday night at MetLife Stadium.

DE Mike DeVito, who has missed two games with a knee injury sustained in practice, was dressed and with his group, as were TE Dustin Keller and RB Shonn Greene. Both offensive players were tested for concussions on Sunday.

The Jets faciility, and much of the surrounding area, was without power for a time around noon.

LB David Harris was named AFC defensive player of the week.
