Jets inactives: LT, Kerley set to play

LANDOVER, MD. -- The Jets' offense is whole again. As expected, RB LaDainian Tomlinson and rookie WR Jeremy Kerley, both of whom missed two games with sprained knees, are active for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Look for Tomlinson in his familiar third-down role and look for Kerley as the slot receiver.

There were no surprises among the Jets' inactives. DT Mike DeVito (sprained knee) is not playing, but you already knew that. Rookie Kenrick Ellis will start for DeVito. Garrett McIntyre will remain the starter at OLB, ahead of Jamaal Westerman.

The inactives are QB Kevin O'Connell, WR Eron Riley, CB Ellis Lankster, RB Bilal Powell, T Howard Austin and DT Martin Tevaseu.

From the Redskins, the news is that S LaRon Landry (groin) is inactive, which isn't a surprise. The Redskins didn't name a replacement for Landry, but it figures to be Reed Doughty.

Their other inactives are WR Terrence Austin, CB Brandyn Thompson, FB Darrel Young, LB Markus White, T Willie Smith and T Tyler Polumbus.
