B. Moore misses third straight practice

December, 9, 2011

Jets coach Rex Ryan said it didn't matter if RG Brandon Moore missed practice with a hip injury, he'd likely play anyway. So it shouldn't be a huge alarm that Moore watched practice Friday in a green sweatsuit rather than participating. Caleb Schlauderaff was again in Moore's spot, but even he said he doesn't expect to play, and C Nick Mangold referred to Moore by his nickname when he said the line would be intact on Sunday.

"It's difficult, but I expect Meat to be out there," Mangold said.

DT Mike DeVito was on the sideline again doing agility drills, and Ryan has said it's unlikely the defensive end will play against the Chiefs.

CB Ellis Lankster was on the practice field after missing Wednesday with a lower back injury. He practiced Thursday as well.
