Keller, Mangold active for Jets
By Rich Cimini
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Jets' beleaguered offense will get expected help Sunday, as TE Dustin Keller and WR Stephen Hill are active and will play against the Colts at MetLife Stadium.
C Nick Mangold, listed as questionable with a sprained ankle, also will play.
As expected, the Jets will be without two injured starters, NT Sione Po'uha (back) and FB John Conner (hamstring). To replace Po'uha and baclup NT Kenrick Ellis (knee), they will shuffle the defensive line. Mike DeVito will start on the nose, Muhammad Wilkerson will move to DeVito's defensive-tackle spot and rookie Quinton Coples' will start in Wilkerson's end position.
The Jets' other inactives: QB Greg McElroy, WR Clyde Gates, RB Jonathan Grimes and S Eric Smith. Rookie S Antonio Allen, signed Friday from the practice squad, is active.
The Colts' inactives are led by LB Robert Mathis and RB Donald Brown, both of whom are sidelined with sprained knees. They will be replaced by Jerry Hughes and Vick Ballard, respectively. They're also without starting LG Joe Reitz, who will be replaced by Jeff Linkenbach, the backup right tackle.
The banged-up Colts also are missing DT Fili Moala. He will be replaced by Drake Nevis. CB Vontae Davis (ankle) is active, but he won't start. Cassius Vaughn will start in his place.
