Practice report: Kerley working

By Matt Ehalt

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Jets receiver Jeremy Kerley (elbow) practiced during the portion of practice open to the media Wednesday. Kerley has missed the past three games with the injury he suffered against New Orleans on Nov. 3.

Kerley was limited in practice all of last week and was listed as questionable, but did not play against Miami. The Jets sorely could use him back as they are receiving very little from their other receivers. Kerley has 28 catches for 347 yards and two touchdowns, leading the team in catches and receiving yards.

Tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) was not present during the open portion, while receiver Santonio Holmes (hamstring) and cornerback Antonio Cromartie (hip) were working.
