The scouting combine wrapped up Tuesday with the cornerback and safety drills. The Jets have a keen interest in safeties, considering LaRon Landry and Yeremiah Bell are free agents and Eric Smith was released. Good news: Scouts say it's a deep safety class, headed by Kenny Vaccaro (Texas), who could crack the top 10.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NFL has descended upon Indianapolis for the annual scouting combine, one of the key steps in the pre-draft process. Of course, it's so much more than the testing ground for draft-eligible players. It's the unofficial start to the offseason, with coaches, team executives and agents meeting to discuss deals.

On Thursday, Rex Ryan and GM John Idzik will address the media at 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., respectively, from Lucas Oil Stadium. Giants officials will speak Friday and Saturday. Check the Jets and Giants blogs on ESPNNewYork.com for the latest from the combine.
