But Lin's also played solid defense, according to William Cohen of ESPN Stats & Information.
Cohen writes that Lin is averaging 1.9 steals per 36 minutes and has allowed only .71 points per possession on defense. That ranks 37th-best in the NBA among 350 qualified players.
