As Lin continues ascent, so do Knicks ticket prices

People can’t get enough of Jeremy Lin and they're going to have to pay for it.

The average price for a ticket to the Knicks’ home game against the New Orleans Hornets Friday is $582.41 on the secondary market, as of Thursday morning. Ticket prices are 111.3 percent higher than the average price for a Knicks home game.

This is all about Lin. The Hornets are 6-23. As of Thursday, the average price of a Knicks home game on the secondary market was up almost 20 percent since Lin joined the lineup and the Knicks ran off a seven-game winning streak.

The average price for the Knicks-Hornets game saw an increase by 221.6 percent since last Tuesday. All information is courtesy of TiqIQ.com, a web site that tracks secondary ticket prices.
