NEW YORK -- The Knicks are very close to returning to full form.

J.R. Smith and Baron Davis are both dressing against the Mavericks Sunday afternoon. Smith is more likely to play today, and Davis' return could come Wednesday against the Hawks at the Garden.

With more good news, Carmelo Anthony is very probable for Monday's home game against the Hawks.

A final key piece for the team is Josh Harrellson, who can help shore up the Knicks' 3-point shooting woes. Currently, their accuracy is 29.9 percent -- second-worst in the league.

Harrellson was connecting on 35.6 percent of his attempts from downtown (one make per game), before he fractured his right wrist on Jan. 21 in the Knicks' 119-114 double-overtime loss to the Nuggets. He can also help the team with his aggressive defense and rebounding (4.3 boards per game in only 18 minutes).

Mike D'Antoni said the backup big man will get X-rayed when All-Star Weekend ends, likely next Sunday, and if "everything is good, he can start working out."
