Shumpert out until after the All-Star break

Mike D'Antoni said on ESPN New York 1050's "The Michael Kay Show" that Iman Shumpert will be out until after the All Star Break due to a left knee injury.

Earlier Monday, Shumpert was ruled out of this weekend's slam dunk contest. Utah's Jeremy Evans will replace him in the contest.

The Knicks (16-17) missed Shumpert's perimeter defense against the Nets, who hit 15 of their 31 3-point attempts. Deron Williams had 38 points, making eight 3-pointers.

Houston's Chase Budinger, Indiana's Paul George, Minnesota's Derrick Williams and Evans will participate in the dunk contest.
