The Knicks announced on Tuesday that they have reassigned Jerome Jordan to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League for the third time this season.
It was a move likely made as a result of backup center Jared Jeffries' return to the lineup.
Jordan has averaged 1.4 and 1.2 rebounds over 4.3 minutes in 19 games with the Knicks this season. In his five previous games with the BayHawks, he averaged 18.0 points (on 48.5 percent shooting), 8.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks over 32.6 minutes.
