Knicks backup center Jared Jeffries practiced at the American Airlines Arena Friday afternoon in Miami, and he is available for Game 1 against the Heat.

However, Mike Woodson said earlier this week that Jeffries, who's missed the past five games with right knee issues, will still be limited come Saturday and during the playoffs. The coach said he doesn't foresee Jeffries playing more than 15 minutes per game.

Starting center, Tyson Chandler, who rested against the Bobcats on Thursday night, missed practice on Friday as he was dealing with flu-like symptoms.

One player who will be out is third-string point guard Toney Douglas, who's suffering from a virus.
