How about this for an odd couple?
Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and tween heart throb Justin Bieber were seated next to eachother on celebrity row at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.
Garden cameras showed Bieber on the scoreboard late in the third quarter of the Knicks’ loss to the Mavericks. The image was met with a mix of boos and high-pitched cheers, presumably from the teen girls in attendance.
Apparently, one young fan who according to MSG announcer Mike Breen was sitting five rows behind the Rangers goalie and the pop star, caught a bad case of Bieber Fever. She was shown on the MSG telecast crying at the sight of Bieber.
Then again, she may have been upset over the Knicks' awful third quarter against the Mavs. Ya never know.
Anyway, click here for video of the surreal scene.
Bieber, by the way, will be participating in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Los Angeles.
