Charles Barkley thinks highly of the Nets.

The Knicks? Not so much.

“I like their team. I like their team a lot. I think they probably have got the best team in New York," Barkley told Newsday when asked about the Nets.

The Nets spent $330 million to upgrade their roster in the offseason. Meanwhile, the Knicks let Jeremy Lin walk but picked up veterans Jason Kidd and Marcus Camby.

Barkley wasn’t impressed.

“They must think it’s 1995,” Barkley told the Newspaper. “It’s 2012. They went out and got 92-year-old Jason Kidd and 92-year-old Marcus Camby.”
