K-Mart and Camby doubtful vs. Thunder

The Knicks have listed Kenyon Martin (sore left knee) and Marcus Camby (left plantar fasciitis) as doubtful for their game against the Thunder on Sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City.

While Mike Woodson said Camby could be out a few days, the coach called the reason for Martin's rest "precautionary."

"His knee is sore," he said on Friday. "It could be because he didn't have camp and he's played a few back-to-back games. And when Tyson was out, I was playing him because I was desperate and didn't know where else to go."

Sunday's game marks the toughest challenge for the Knicks since they started their 11-game winning streak as far as frontcourt matchups. While the Thunder start Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins down low, the Knicks could be without five big men: Martin, Camby, Amar'e Stoudemire, Rasheed Wallace and Kurt Thomas. That means Chandler could be all alone in the middle.

In their last meeting on March 7 in New York, the Thunder escaped with a one-point victory -- and the Knicks had Chandler, Stoudemire and Martin. Carmelo Anthony, however, didn't play because of a right knee injury. He will this time, and he could surpass Durant for the NBA scoring title. They are divided by only a fraction of a point per game; Durant at 28.4 and Anthony at 28.3.
