Knicks point guard Pablo Prigioni sprained his right ankle at the tail end of the first quarter on Wednesday night against the Hawks.
The team says X-rays came back negative.
Prigioni went down with 51 seconds to go in the quarter. He appeared to roll his ankle on a jump-stop near the rim.
He was tended to by the team training staff and walked to the locker room with a noticeable limp.
The severity of the injury is unclear at this point.
Prigioni has started the last 18 games at point guard for the Knicks. Mike Woodson plans to start Prigioni at point guard in Game 1 of New York's first-round playoff series against the Celtics.
