Knicks forward Metta World Peace sat out of Saturday's game with what the team called a sore left knee.

It is unclear when World Peace, 34, first suffered the injury. The Knicks announced that World Peace would be inactive about an hour before Saturday's game.

With World Peace out, Kenyon Martin figures to play more minutes. Chris Smith, J.R. Smith's younger brother, is active in World Peace's place.

We should have more information on World Peace's injury after the game.
