Winning two out of three games in the Texas Triangle is a major feat considering how the Knicks season has gone thus far.

As a result, the Knicks are on the rise in the latest ESPN power rankings. Our man Marc Stein, who does the rankings, moved the Knicks up to 20th, nine spots from last week's ranking of 29th. It was the biggest jump up for a team in the rankings.

Here's Stein's breakdown of the Knicks:

"Nothing good is ever supposed to happen in the Texas Triangle. So if you try to tell me that you told all your friends that the Knicks would go down there and relocate not only Iman Shumpert but also the needed mojo to beat the Spurs and Mavs and nearly sweep all three stops ... stop it. You're lying."

And who knows, the Knicks might've been one J.R. Smith inexplicable three-point attempt from going 3-0 in Texas. But who's complaining?
