NEW YORK -- Knicks point guard Beno Udrih was unavailable in the second half of Tuesday's win over Detroit due to a leg injury.

Udrih said he felt discomfort below his knee. The veteran point guard said he may have an MRI on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury.

With Udrih limited, Mike Woodson leaned on Raymond Felton in the second half. Felton played 31 minutes in his first game back following a six-game absence due to a groin injury and finished with 12 points, six assists and four turnovers against the Pistons.

Afterward, the 29-year-old said he felt "great."

Felton credited team trainers for helping him rebound from the groin injury. He added that he thought he lost some weight during his rehab.

Happy New Year? The Knicks are 3-1 since the calendar turned to 2014.

They are holding opponents to 92 points per game on 43 percent shooting in that span, while scoring 96.5 points on 45 percent shooting.

Iman Shumpert's shooting 60 percent from the floor in that span.

Hey 'Sheed: The Knicks got a visit from an old friend after the game. Pistons assistant coach Rasheed Wallace came into New York's locker room and greeted several players, including Raymond Felton and Iman Shumpert after Tuesday's win. Wallace played for the Knicks last season. He was limited to just 21 games due to a foot injury, but he made a strong impact in the locker room. Several players this season have noted they miss his leadership.

"I've learned a lot from Rasheed," said Anthony, who playfully gestured at Wallace after knocking down a 3-pointer in front of the Pistons bench on Tuesday.
