PHILADELPHIA -- Here are a few things to keep an eye on during tonight's Knicks-Sixers game:

Will J.R. play? Mike Woodson benched J.R. Smith on Thursday following Smith's $50,000 fine for attempting to untie two opponents' shoelaces.

Will Smith ride the pine again tonight against Philly?

Woodson didn't want to address Smith's situation on Saturday morning, but you shouldn't be surprised if Smith doesn't play.

With Smith out, the Knicks relied on Iman Shumpert and Tim Hardaway Jr. in their 102-92 win over the Heat on Thursday. The two shooting guards combined for 17 points and Shumpert played strong perimeter defense against Miami.

Smith has struggled mightily from the floor of late, averaging just 6.5 points per game and missing 13 of his last 16 3s.

STAT sizzling: The Knicks' big men also played well against Miami. With Tyson Chandler (illness) out, Amar'e Stoudemire, Kenyon Martin and Andrea Bargnani all turned in strong performances in the win over the Heat.

Bargnani had 19 points and five rebounds and hit nine of 13 shots in his best game as a Knick. Stoudemire poured in 14 points and 11 rebounds. He went 7-for-12 from the floor.

The big men seemed to benefit from Raymond Felton's strong play.

Felton, in his second game back from a groin injury, had 13 points and a season-high 14 assists against Miami.

Chandler will be out again on Saturday, so the Knicks could use strong games from Bargnani, Stoudemire and Martin against Philly.

Philly's follies: Even without Smith and Chandler, though, the Knicks shouldn't have much trouble with the Sixers. Philly has lost five of six and has struggled mightily on the defensive end.

Per STATS LLC, the Sixers have given up 117.0 points and allowed opponents to shoot 47.6 percent from 3-point range over the last six games. Not good.
