NEW YORK -- Somewhere in South Florida, LeBron James caught wind of Carmelo Anthony’s record-setting performance on Friday night and started live-tweeting it.

After Anthony finished his night with a New York Knicks and Madison Square Garden record 62 points, James, his longtime friend, offered praise for the Knicks star.

Bargnani future uncertain: Mike Woodson isn’t sure if injured forward Andrea Bargnani will need surgery to repair the torn ligament in his left elbow. The Knicks announced on Thursday that Bargnani was out indefinitely. If he needs surgery, there is a chance that Bargnani will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

"Right now, it’s just indefinitely that he’s out, and we just have to wait and see," Woodson said.

Woody says he’s still on the same page with players" Before Anthony went off for 62 points on Friday, the Knicks were still dealing with the remnants of a five-game losing streak and potential fractures in the locker room.

So Woodson was asked if he’s on the "same page" as his players.

"I think so. I’ve always been on the same page, without a doubt," Woodson said.

The relationship between Woodson and his players has come under scrutiny in light of Tyson Chandler saying the Knicks were "outschemed" in a loss to the Brooklyn Nets last Monday. Anthony also noted that the Knicks lacked fight against the Nets.

"When you lose, a lot of things creep in. It happens, and it’s my job to try and keep law and order and keep everybody above water," Woodson said. "Right now, we haven’t sunk totally. We’re still in the hunt. I like our chances. I’ve got to keep pushing guys. That’s what I have to keep doing as a coach."

Metta returns: Metta World Peace dressed for the first time since Dec. 28 on Friday night but did not play. He underwent five treatments of blood-spinning therapy to improve the condition of his knees. He said before the game that the process seemed to prevent fluid buildup in his knee.
