Here are a few things to keep an eye on tonight during the Knicks-Nets game:

Will Melo play? The Knicks say Carmelo Anthony is questionable for their last game with the Nets due to a right shoulder injury. Mike Woodson sees no reason why Anthony should play. Anthony sat out of the team's shoot around on Tuesday and is unlikely to play tonight.

The Knicks say he will undergo further testing. It is unclear if that testing will include an MRI. With the Knicks eliminated from playoff contention, there is no need for Anthony to risk further injury.

He first hurt his shoulder on April 3 against Brooklyn. If Anthony sits tonight and on Wednesday against Washington, there is a chance that he may have played his last game as a Knick.

Anthony will test free agency this summer. The Knicks can offer him a contract that is one year longer and worth $33 million more than any other team.

Youth movement? Woodson said he will give the younger players on the roster a chance to play regular minutes against Brooklyn. That should mean heavy minutes for Cole Aldrich, Jeremy Tyler and Tour're Murry. Tyler spent time in the rotation when Tyson Chandler and Kenyon Martin went down with an ankle injury. But his minutes have been limited recently.

Aldrich has played regular minutes in Martin's absence. Murry has played sparingly. All three players are free agents this summer and will have an opportunity over the next two games to make an impression on new president Phil Jackson.

Not much buzz: There's little juice left for the fourth and final installment of the East River Rivalry tonight in Brooklyn.

The only remnant of consequence is this: a Knicks win would keep the Nets from clinching the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Brooklyn (44-36) leads Washington by 1 1/2 games with the Wizards holding the head-to-head tiebreaker.

In addition to Carmelo Anthony likely sitting out, Amar'e Stoudemire is a game-time decision. For the Nets, Deron Williams (knee), Paul Pierce (shoulder) and Joe Johnson (calf) are game-time decisions.
