New Jersey's "Homecoming Tour" exhibition game -- featuring Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Kevin Durant -- has been canceled, according to NJSEA spokesman John Samerjan.
The game was scheduled for Dec. 10 at the Izod Center.
With NBA training camps expected to open Dec. 9, Paul, James, Anthony and Durant are expected to be occupied on the 10th.
The entire four-game tour has been scrapped but, according to a source, there is still a chance that one game can be played before training camps open.
Owners and players have to ratify the CBA before starting dates for training camp and the regular season can be finalized.
