Amare Stoudemire took over the Knicks' official Twitter feed for a fan chat on Tuesday afternoon.

At the end of the chat, he said he'd see fans at the team's Orange and Blue scrimmage, scheduled for Dec. 18. According to the tweet, the game will be held at Madison Square Garden. Tickets are free.

The Knicks haven't made an official announcement but it's hard to believe they'd allow Stoudemire to fire off misinformation via their Twitter feed.

If true, that means the Knicks will host the intra-squad scrimmage the day after they open the preseason in Newark against the Nets.
