Walker practices; Bibby and Jeffries out

NEW YORK -- Bench swingman Bill Walker participated in practice on Friday, after being sidelined for a few days with a groin injury.

Backups Mike Bibby and Jared Jeffries sat out with slight injuries.

Bibby is suffering from back spasms, which pulled him out of Wednesday's contest against the Nets, and Jeffries is sidelined with a sore right calf. After the game, Bibby addressed his setback.

"I'm 33 years old," Bibby said. "I just gotta little jammed, but I'm fine. It's nothing too serious."

As it remains, potential starting point guard Baron Davis is out indefinitely with a herniated disc, which is likely to keep him in street clothes for the next four to six weeks.
