Carmelo Anthony complained to a trainer on Monday about playing with "heavy" legs. He said after Wednesday's win over Philadelphia that his legs felt "better" but they still weren't at 100 percent.

The Knicks play in Memphis on Thursday and then travel to Oklahoma City on Saturday.

Anthony suffered an injury to his right side last Friday against Washington. He spent the day on Sunday getting treatment for the injury.

He is averaging 35 minutes per game, a number that is skewed a bit because he sat out of the fourth quarter of the Knicks' blowout win over Detroit on Saturday.

WHAT ABOUT BIBBY? Mike Bibby played just six minutes on Monday and did not see the floor on Wednesday against Philadelphia.

On Monday, Mike D'Antoni said Bibby's minutes were limited by a knee ailment.

On Wednesday, the coach said Bibby's knee was fine.

Bibby said he was healthy enough to play during the Knicks' win over the Sixers. The reserve guard scored 13.5 points off the bench in wins over Washington and Detroit late last week.... Renaldo Balkman recorded his second straight DNP-CD and his fourth in six games.

JEFFRIES BACK SATURDAY? D'Antoni said Jared Jeffries is unlikely to play on Thursday. He is a strong candidate to be back in the lineup Saturday against Oklahoma City. It will be interesting to see how Jeffries' return affects Josh Harrellson's minutes.

STOUDEMIRE'S SCORING Amare Stoudemire had 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on Wednesday. He has scored at least 20 points in the last five games and has posted 20 and 10 in four of his last five since returning from an ankle injury. ... Anthony (25 points) and Stoudemire have both reached the 20-point mark five times this season. The Knicks are 4-1 in those games. Anthony also had five assists for the sixth time this season. The Knicks are 4-2 when he hands out at least five assists.
