Woody: Camby set to return vs. Lakers

LOS ANGELES -- Marcus Camby is expected to play Tuesday against the Lakers, but his minutes will depend on an in-game evaluation of his performance, according to New York Knicks coach Mike Woodson, speaking to reporters before the game.
"We will need him based on their bigs," said Woodson, who declined to estimate how long Camby would play. "We'll gauge it as we go along. He hasn't had enough court time [for an accurate evaluation] ... We'll put him out there and see how it goes."
Camby, who has missed the previous 12 games due to plantar fascia, will be a boost to the Knicks' depleted front line; Tyson Chandler has average 35 minutes per game since Rasheed Wallace went down with a stress fracture.
Woodson reported that he believed the season debuts of injured Knicks Amar'e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert were "not far away," but declined to predict exactly when either would return to the court.
"We just need to get some healthy bodies back and continue our winning ways," Woodson said.
