KENYON: 'NO EXCUSES' IN GAME 4: The Knicks may be without Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith due to injury/illness Tuesday night, but Kenyon Martin said the team can't use that as a crutch.
"It’s the playoffs, man. There’s no excuses. Of course it’s a must-win," Martin said. "We’re the ones that put ourselves in this position, so we’ve got to go out and perform. Definitely don’t want to go home down 3-1."
WOODY SAYS HE WON'T SIT KIDD:Jason Kidd hasn't scored in his last seven games. He has just 11 points in 220 playoff minutes. But Woodson will not take Kidd out of the rotation.
"No, I just think he brings some intangibles that some other guys don’t bring. I would never do that to him as a player," Woodson said.
MELO SAYS HE'LL KEEP SHOOTING: Anthony said he's going to be more aggressive in Game 4. He shot 6-for-16 in the Knicks' Game 3 loss.
"The shots I was taking, man, I didn’t feel like I forced anything. The shots that I took I feel like I can make and I’ll continue to take those shots," he said.
