Carmelo Anthony near top in jersey sales

By Ian Begley

GREENBURGH N.Y. -- The NBA released a list of its best selling jerseys on Thursday and -- to no one's surprise -- Knicks star Carmelo Anthony was near the top of the list.

According to the NBA, Anthony had the fifth-highest selling jersey in the United States last year and the sixth-highest selling jersey worldwide.

In what should come as a surprise to Knicks fans, Amar'e Stoudemire has the seventh-best selling jersey in Latin America. Anthony did not crack the top 10 in that market.
