Knicks go orange for opener
By Matt Ehalt
New York Knicks had orange shirts waiting for fans at MSG on Wednesday.
NEW YORK-- Madison Square Garden was distinctly orange for the season opener.
Each seat inside the World's Most Famous Arena had an orange shirt draped over it for the Knicks' opener against the Bucks on Wednesday, which was noteworthy because the Knicks don't often do these type of promotions for games.
The front of the shirts had various slogans, including: "Where great becomes greater"; "No one rides for free"; "Go hard or go somewhere else"; "The hustle never sleeps." Each saying had #NYMADE beneath it. The back of the shirts had the Knicks logo between the numbers 13 and 14, and "Knicks Opening Night" below it.
The Knicks' 90-83 win over the Bucks was the first regular season game inside MSG since it added the new bridges and scoreboard.
