Chandler, Udrih likely out vs. Miami

By Ian Begley

Tyson Chandler is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Heat due to an upper respiratory infection, according to the Knicks.

Chandler missed Tuesday's game against Detroit due to the illness. He came down with it on Sunday and left the Knicks' win over Dallas in the first quarter.

Chandler's illness has spread through the locker room. Mike Woodson said on Wednesday that Andrea Bargnani, Raymond Felton and Kenyon Martin have been affected.

If Chandler can't play, the Knicks will need to Martin to play center.

Also on the Knicks' injury front, Beno Udrih is doubtful due to a knee injury. Udrih underwent an MRI on Wednesday that revealed inflammation of the left tibiofibular joint.

Udrih's injury is not believed to be serious. If Udrih can't play, Toure' Murry will likely be the first point guard off of the Knicks' bench.
