Chandler, Udrih questionable vs. Suns

By Ian Begley

The New York Knicks may get Tyson Chandler back Monday night against the Phoenix Suns.

Chandler has missed the past three games due to an upper respiratory illness. Coach Mike Woodson said Saturday that Chandler was improving. He is officially listed as questionable for Monday's game.

When a team lists a player as questionable, it's usually an indication he will play.

The Knicks may also get point guard Beno Udrih back. Udrih suffered a knee injury in the team's win against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday. An MRI taken Wednesday revealed Udrih has inflammation of the left tibiofibular joint.

Udrih is officially listed as questionable as well.

With Udrih and Chandler out, the Knicks (14-22) have relied on Toure' Murry at backup point guard and Kenyon Martin at center.

Chandler first came down with the illness last Sunday. He left the Knicks' game against the Dallas Mavericks that night in the first quarter and has not practiced or played since.

The Knicks have won all four games since Chandler became ill.
