With All-Star Weekend nearly upon us in New York, the NBA has made an interactive “History of New York City Basketball” map that features just about every notable basketball figure who has called the Big Apple home.
The map is a virtual who's who of New York basketball, featuring information on more than 500 NYC legends, highlights of more than 150 icons, and more than 140 photos.
From Rucker Park to the 108th Street courts in Rockaway Beach, the map spotlights more than 100 city landmarks and schools located throughout the New York boroughs.
The NBA will also hand out 5,000 copies of the map to schools and community-based organizations around the city.
